About

I'm Nick Smith. I've spent 10+ years in product and operations, building the systems that help product teams move faster: intake, cross-functional workflows, prioritization, and governance. I focus on product outcomes and impact, using metrics and analytics to measure what actually changed.
Work
My work sits between strategy and execution. I build for impact, not just delivery: agree on the outcome first, choose the few metrics that show it, then use product analytics to see whether what shipped actually moved them. I work across every phase of product development, from discovery to monitoring, and much of my career has been in regulated environments where rigor isn't optional. I hold a Master's in Psychology, plus PMP, A-CSM, and CSPO certifications. One helps with the people side of alignment, the other with the delivery side.
Building
Sevrolin Studios is where I build and ship AI-assisted iOS apps, from first idea to the App Store. It keeps me close to the craft, and it shapes how I design systems for other teams.
What I work with
Product operations: Jira, Productboard, and Dotwork, at the admin level.
iOS: Swift and Xcode, from build to App Store release.
Web: Astro, Cloudflare Workers, GitHub, and Claude Code, from first file to live domain.
Training
Six days a week in the gym. The long goal is kettlebell mastery: form first, load earned over time. That habit is where Kettlebell Currency comes from.
